Thermoformed or membrane pressed, three-dimensional components of KYDEX® sheet can eliminate seams and corners that trap dirt and pose cleaning problems, while components laminated with KYDEX® sheet can eliminate the cracking and chipping associated with high pressure laminates. And unlike many other plastics, KYDEX® sheet resists exposure to lipids present in body fats, and to gamma radiation, making it particularly suitable for a wide range of medical equipment components and enclosures.
