KYDEX® Thermoplastics are durable and UV resistant, with a range of finishes that keep surfaces looking newer for longer. Thermoplastics can be formed into large parts, providing robust alternatives to traditional materials like fiberglass or painted metal, and won’t dent, ding, or fray.
From the interior to the exterior our products are ideal for instrument panels, armrests, shrouds, motor covers, fenders, body panels, and hood assemblies.

While no colour tolerance system is perfect, the ellipsoid tolerance of CMC best represents the observable differences. Research shows that CMC tolerance has a 95% agreement with visual assessment while CIELAB has a 75% agreement. Based on the higher degree of agreement, SEKISUI KYDEX utilizes CMC tolerance to inspect the colour of its thermoplastic sheet products.
The subject of gloss is more comprehensive than how “shiny” a surface appears to the human eye. This technical brief outlines and educates on the subject of gloss and the terms that can be used to describe it.
Thermoplastics offer important advantages over fiberglass, sheet metal, and sheet molding. Thermoplastics are lighter and resist chemical damage and heat, all while giving you the power to transform the look and feel of your agricultural or heavy equipment products with custom colour and welcoming imagery.
