The Agriculture and Heavy Equipment industries are growing as a result of the increasing global middle class. This industry’s success is supported by implementation of autonomous technology and the development of global urban infrastructure. SEKISUI SPI’s Jim Lyon sees the opportunities to collaborate with customers in these industries to switch from traditional materials to materials that are lighter, safer, stronger, and more sustainable.

SEKISUI SPI is pleased to announce Jim Lyon has been promoted from Midwest Regional Business Manager to Agriculture & Heavy Equipment (Ag/HE) Market Manager. Lyon has been an exceptional addition to the SEKISUI SPI team over the past two years, embracing the culture and establishing himself as a valuable resource for KYDEX® Thermoplastics.

With his strong technical abilities and 15 years of Agriculture & Heavy Equipment experience, Lyon is uniquely qualified for this role, and dedicated to collaborating on sustainable solutions for these industries.

“I’m very excited to continue building relationships with our strategic partners and develop thermoplastic solutions for Ag/HE applications. My first initiative will to be to coordinate with our designLab® and appLab™ to formalize a portfolio of materials focused on high impact, weatherability, and high-temperature applications specific to the Ag/HE market, ” said Lyon when asked about first steps in his new role.

As Agriculture and Heavy Equipment Market Manager, he will continue to explore and expand this dynamic market while also managing the Midwest territory. Lyon is ready to collaborate with customers to develop sustainable materials to improve product performance. SEKISUI SPI is excited to see Jim continue his journey and looks forward to his success.
